The Langlade County Cemetery Tour is back for its third year! The Historical Society and Antigo Community Theatre are proud to once again host “Presenting the Past”, a walking tour highlighting the beautiful memorials of Langlade County’s cemeteries and honoring the former Antigo residents laid to rest there.

This year, the tour will be at Elmwood Cemetery on the south side of Antigo, next to the Northcentral Technical College campus. Parking and tickets will be at the southern NTC parking lot. Historical figures featured in this year’s tour include Judge Parsons, Claude Jensen, Helen Benishek-Tradewell, Elmer Morse, Reverend Grimm, and Anton Bosacki.

Guides tours will leave the parking lot for Elmwood every 15 minutes. The entire route, including the distance from the parking lot to the cemetery and back, is about three-quarters of a mile in length. Limited transport is available for individuals who have difficulty walking long distances or on uneven terrain.
